I work for Professor Jonas Kuhn as a postdoctoral research assistant at the University of Potsdam in Golm, Germany. The project is called Ptolemaios. I'm currently working on two things: (a) machine translation systems that can flexibly make use of the information provided by "deep" grammars like LFG, and (b) the theoretical foundations of rule extraction for MT systems. I hold a Ph.D. in computer science from UCLA and a bachelors degree in computer science from UC Berkeley.
