The Service Civil International, an international peace organization, with its German branch SCI-D, its East-West-Working-Group (OWAG), and the SCI Berlin. Currently, a new large scale project Youth Transcending New Frontiers (http://www.ytnf.org), a cooperation between volunteers from Russia, Belarus, Moldova, Ukraine, Poland and Germany, is in its first phase.

In December 2007, "Zwischen allen Fronten" - events about the situation of refugees with presentations, music, film, theatre, exhibitions and more happened in the New Yorck in the Bethanien. More info can be found here: http://www.newyorck.net/zaf/index.html.
In December 2008, the International exhibition project "Teheran Biennale" took place with artists and musicians from Iran, Turkey and many other countries from Europe and Asia. More info can be found here: http://www.biennialtehran.com.
