Buildings and rooms
The colloquium and the workshops will take place in the Griebnitzsee campus of the University of Potsdam, located right next to the Griebnitzsee train station. All the talks will take place on building 6 (see the campus map below). The room allocation is as follows:

Food: from Tuesday 27 until Friday 30, GLOW attendants will be able to have lunch at the Griebnitzsee campus cafeteria, located on the ground floor of building 6. An overview of the menu is available here
. There is at least one vegetarian offering every day, but the catering for other dietary restrictions (vegan, kosher, etc) is rather limited. On Saturday 31, the cafeteria will be closed; however, attendants will be able to have lunch at Café Albers
located at Rudolf-Breitscheidstraße 201 (right across the train tracks from the university complex).
Getting to the venue
The Griebnitzsee campus is accessible from both Potsdam and Berlin. The transportation options are the following:
- Coming from Potsdam:
- Bus 694 (timetable) towards Stern-Center/Gerlachtstraße: it goes through Potsdam Hauptbahnhof every 20 minutes.
- Train RB22 towards Griebnitzsee: goes through Potsdam Hauptbahnhof (platform 4) every 30 minutes.
- Train S7 (timetable) towards Ahrensfelde: leaves from Potsdam Hauptbahnhof (platforms 6 and 7) every 10 minutes.
- Train S7 (timetable) towards Potsdam Hbf. It leaves every 10 minutes from several stations in Berlin, including Alexanderplatz, Friedrichstraße, Hauptbahnhof, Zoologischer Garten, and Charlottenburg.
Depending on the location of your hotel, you may need to take additional transportation to reach the stations listed above. If so, please consult our local transportation page.
