The 35th GLOW Colloquium will take place on March 28-30, 2012 in Potsdam, Germany. It will be hosted by the Linguistics Department of the University of Potsdam and the Collaborative Research Center SFB 632 "Information Structure".

The topic of this year's colloquium is Context in grammar: a frequent visitor or a regular inhabitant?. In addition to the colloquium, there will also be four thematic workshops happening on Tuesday, March 27 and Saturday, March 31.

  1. The timing of grammar: experimental and theoretical considerations (March 27).

  2. Production and perception of prosodically-encoded information structure (March 27).

  3. Empty categories in syntax: are there any? (March 31)

    Invited speaker: Ad Neeleman (UCL).
