Step 0: Find out for yourself
The easiest way probably is to look up the way from your location to here by checking the info pages of the public transport. As destination enter "Golm Bahnhof". Now jump to Step 3 below. Step 1: Getting to Potsdam Central Station (Hauptbahnhof, Hbf) * From Schönefeld airport: There's a region train that goes from Schönefeld airport directly to Potsdam Hauptbahnhof (bypassing Berlin). From Potsdam Hauptbahnhof onwards see below. (See website linked to above for timetable.) * From Berlin Tegel airport:Take Bus 109, direction "S+U Zoologischer Garten", get out at "Charlottenburg", change to S7 (direction Potsdam Hauptbahnhof), get off at final stop (Potsdam Hbf). * From Berlin to Potsdam Hauptbahnhof: The fastest way typically is to take a train (line RE1) from Berlin (Ostbahnhof, Alexanderplatz, Friedrichstrasse, Hauptbahnhof, or Zoo) to Potsdam Hauptbahnhof. Taking tram and bus is also an option, see website linked to above for details. Step 2: From Potsdam Hauptbahnhof to Golm Bahnhof Take regional train RB21 or RB20 (they normally leave around 10 minutes after the RE1 arrives in Potsdam Hbf). The final destination is either Golm itself or Wustermark, you want to get out at Golm Bahnhof in any case. You can also take bus number 606 (from bus terminal, just outside of the station), but that takes quite a bit longer. Step 3: From Golm Bahnhof to my office I'm in "Haus 24", on this map. |
